METHYLENE CHLORIDE

DESCRIPTION
ATAMAN currently offers two products: domestically produced methylene chloride and imported methylene chloride produced by Lotte Fine Chemica, which is characterized by low acidity.

Methylene chloride (methylene chloride, dichloromethane, mectin) is a blowing agent.

Methylene chloride is a special stabilizer that is used as a blowing agent for the production of flexible polyurethane foams, such as block and molded foams. The catalyst formulation must be slightly adjusted if methylene chloride is used.

The catalyst formulation
must be slightly adjusted if methylene chloride is used. Methylene chloride is also used as a solvent for cellulose acetate for processing photographic and film films, in the production
of acetate fibers, in the production of paint removers, and is a refrigerant in refrigeration units. In the pharmaceutical industry, dichloromethane is used in the synthesis of ascorbic
acid. Methylene chloride is used as an organic solvent for cleaning and degreasing surfaces, such as metal. Automotive aerosol paints also include methylene chloride, which our company
 offers to buy.

Application

Methylene chloride is used as a blowing agent in the production of flexible polyurethane foams such as block and molded foams. In the production of foam rubber, it is necessary to adjust
the formulation depending on the amount of methylene chloride used in order to regulate the density and hardness of the obtained foam rubber.
