The powder displays fast dispersion without lumping when added to water.

NATROSOL 250 HR can be used in a variety of applications, including hair conditioner, liquid soaps, shave gels and foams, toothpaste (high salt), wipes (baby and adult), makeup/mascara, AP/Deodorant solids, and lubricant gels. 

Solutions of NATROSOL 250 HR are pseudoplastic or shear-thinning. 
As a result, personal care products formulated with NATROSOL 250 HR dispense rich and thick from the container, but spread easily on hair and skin.

NATROSOL 250 HR hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC) is a series of off-white powders that are easily dispersed and dissolved in cold or hot water, to produce solutions of varying viscosities. 
Chemically, NATROSOL 250 HR is cellulose of short to very long chain length that has been etherified to a hydroxyethyl ether to achieve an optimum balance of properties. 
NATROSOL 250 HR is used as a viscosity and rheology modifier, protective colloid, water retention agent, stabilizer, and suspending agent, particularly in those applications where a nonionic material is desired.

NATROSOL 250 HR, also known as a Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC), which is a non-ionic, water-soluble polymer, is a white, free-flowing granular powder.
NATROSOL 250 HR is easily dissolved in cold or hot water to give crystal-clear solutions of varying viscosities. 
Furthermore, low to medium molecular weight types are fully soluble in glycerol and have good solubility in hydro-alcoholic systems containing up to 60% ethanol.

Features of NATROSOL 250 HR: 
NATROSOL has the properties of thickening, adhesion, dispersion, film formation and suspension. 
When the pH of the NATROSOL water solution is between 2 and 12, the viscosity is stable. 

If NATROSOL 250 HR exceeds this range, acidic or alkaline oxidative degradation will occur and viscosity will decrease. 
The viscosity of the Natrasol aqueous solution decreases as the temperature increases and the viscosity can be recovered when the temperature drops to the original temperature. 

If there is no high salt concentration, when the solution is heated to boiling point, no gel or precipitate is formed.
That is, natrosol is very resistant to temperature. 

NATROSOL aqueous solution is a nonionic system and other water soluble polymers, surfactants, salts, etc. can be found together with.

NATROSOL 250 HR's uses include the following:
As a thickener in latex paints, waterborne coatings, paper coatings, latex emulsions, cosmetics and toiletries, coatings, textile printing pastes and inks, adhesives, and brines used in completion fluids in oil field applications.
As a protective colloid in vinyl polymerization reactions, pigment dispersions, electroplating solutions, and as an emulsion stabilizer in oil and water systems including skin lotions.

As a binder in ceramic colors, glazes, refractory compositions, colored pencil leads, burnout-type binders, patching plasters, and tile adhesives.
As a surface coating for textile warp and finish sizing, glass fiber sizing, and paper sizing and treating for absorbency, greaseproofness, and transparency.

In acid thickening of metal cleaners and in surface treatments.
In water-loss control with Portland cement in oil well cements, thin-set tile mortars, and other applications to prevent loss of water to porous strata and surfaces.

Functions of NATROSOL 250 HR:

For Water-Based Latex coatings: 
NATROSOL 250 HR can significantly improve thickening and leveling performance.

For Oil Drilling: 
NATROSOL 250 HR can improve mud carrying capacity during drilling, and prevent a large amount of water from entering the oil layer from the mud, and stabilize the oil layer production capacity.

For building construction and building materials: 
NATROSOL 250 HR is an effective thickener and binder for cement slurry and mortar. 
NATROSOL 250 HR can improve the fluidity and construction performance of the mortar, and prolong the water evaporation time, and increase the initial cracks of the concrete. 
NATROSOL 250 HR used for painting gypsum, bonding gypsum, gypsum putty can significantly improve NATROSOL 250 HR water retention and bonding strength.

For Toothpaste:
NATROSOL 250 HR can guarantee the stability of toothpaste paste due to NATROSOL 250 HR strong salt resistance and acid resistance. 
In addition, the toothpaste is not easy to dry due to NATROSOL 250 HR high water retention and emulsifying ability.

For Water-Based Ink:
NATROSOL 250 HR can make the ink dry quickly and not penetrate.
