NX 795 is a clear, colorless liquid ester alcohol used as a coalescing agent for aqueous dispersions. 
NX 795 is used in decorative and industrial coatings.


NX 795 is an effective coalescing agent for waterborne latex formulations such as acrylic dispersions, styrene acrylics and vinyl acetate copolymer dispersions. 
NX 795 effectively reduces minimum film-forming temperature (TMFF), and provides additional benefits in final product properties, including increased coating gloss, increased film integrity, reduced film porosity and less cracking.

Incorporation of NX 795 results in optimal paint performance even at lower drying temperatures. 
NX 795 coalescent also facilitates the use of hard latexes at low temperatures, expanding the range of application temperatures in many latex paint formulations. 
NX 795 coalescent does not dissolve in water, but is readily absorbed by latex particles making it an effective film-forming additive, even when applying paint to porous substrates and in humid environments.

NX 795 acts as an effective coalescing agent in a variety of latex paint formulations, such as acrylic-polyvinyl acetate homo- and copolymers, as well as styrene-butadiene and vinyl acetate-ethylene latexes.
NX 795 lowers the minimum film forming temperature of latex. 
With the aid of a coalescer, optimum paint performance can be obtained even at lower temperatures. 
Therefore, coalescents are an effective means of ensuring successful results when painting is carried out under less than ideal conditions.

Hydrolytic Resistance and Viscosity Stability
NX 795 is not classified as VOC material in Europe (1999/13/EC and 2004/42/EC) and not as HAP in the USA (Clean Air Act 1990)
NX 795 is not classified as a VOC by the State Environmental Protection Agency of China.
NX 795 can be easily incorporated into an ink formulation during the later stages of ink manufacturing.
