Orgal PR 670 pure as a white solid. 
Fp about 18 ~- 21.5 deg C; d20 1.19. 23 C viscosity (5,0±0.2) * lO-a. s. 
Soluble in water and low carbon alcohol, ethylene glycol and polar organic solvents. 
Stable at room temperature, pH 3. 5~9.5 effective. Soluble in water and lower alcohols and hydrophilic organic solvents. 
Orgal PR 670 can react with sodium metabisulfite (or sodium bisulfite) solution to become a non-toxic substance.
Orgal PR 670 is a mixture of the two isothiazoliones contained in Kathon CG, at a 13.9% concentration. 
Orgal PR 670 is mainly contained in metalwork fluids.
As an active component of Aigezid Ⅱ and contained in a water bath used for phtotographic development, it caused contact dermatitis in a photograph developer.

Preparation Method
Dimethyl dithiodipropionate is subjected to aminolysis reaction with methylamine to form N.N'-= methyldithiodipropionamide, and then reacted with chlorine in ethyl acetate solution, and the product is obtained by filtration, washing and drying. 
The ratio of the two active components in Orgal PR 670 has a great influence on the performance of the product.


Use
Orgal PR 670 has good efficacy in killing and stripping fungi, bacteria, algae, mollusks and slime. 
In the use of content, can be naturally degraded into non-toxic substances, the environment does not produce pollution. 
Good miscibility, can be mixed with chlorine and other oxidizing fungicides, scale inhibitors and dispersants, most cationic surfactants, anionic surfactants and non-ionic surfactants and play a synergistic effect, and quaternary ammonium salt compound use effect is better. 
Orgal PR 670 can pass through the surface layer of the slime and kill the bacteria and algae in the slime, and can prevent the formation of the slime in the cooling water system. 
Orgal PR 670 has excellent bactericidal effect in a wide pH range and is effective in both acidic and alkaline water. 
Can be widely used in paper mill cooling water, oil field water injection, metal processing oil, latex, fiber and coating and other mold.
