Properties:
Not flammable
Does not self-ignite
Non-toxic - in view of this, it is one of the most common organochlorine solvents
Main Areas and Applications
The main application of PCE is a dry cleaning solvent. It is also used as a metal degreaser, a component of paint removal products, and a solvent in flexo printing processes. High purity PCE is used for catalyst regeneration in the oil refining industry.
