PHOSPHATE ESTER BLEND

Phosphate ester blend is recognized by ISO Specification 12922 as superior fire resistant fluids and surpass the FM Global standard. 
As truly fire-resistant lubricants they can increase work place safety and significantly reduce damage, unscheduled downtime and unexpected costs associated with fire.
Phosphate ester blend is well-known multi-functional additives for metalworking fluids.

However, most Phosphate ester blend currently available, while providing anti-wear and extreme pressure protection along with emulsification and stain inhibition, can contribute to foam and soap generation. 
In addition, many current Phosphate ester blend are classified as very toxic to aquatic life. 
Traditional Phosphate ester blend no longer offer the right balance between performance, regulation, and economics.

Phosphate ester blend are anionic surfactants which are produced by phosphation of (ethoxylated) aliphatic or aromatic alcohols.
Phosphate ester blend are used as emulsifying, corrosion inhibitors and anti-wear additives in metalworking fluids, wetting agents, anti-statics and hydrotropes in cleaning formulations.
By carefully selecting the type of alcohol ethoxylate used and the mono to di-ester ratio the NiPhos multifunctional Phosphate ester blend offer specific advantages including stability over a broad pH range, good solubility, softer soap (scum) deposits and corrosion inhibiting properties.
