PLURONIC PE 6800

Chemical name: Oxirane, methyl-, polymer with oxirane
CAS Number: 9003-11-6
Form: powder
Colour: colourless to yellowish
pH (5% in water): 7

APPLICATIONS

Pluronic PE 6800 is supplied in the form of very fine beads.
Pluronic PE 6800 is a very appropriate choice for use in powder-type detergents and cleaners if surfactants cannot be sprayed on in liquid or paste form.
Addtionally, Pluronic PE 6800 is easy to blend with other powders, and Pluronic PE 6800 has the added advantage that it binds dust.

Pluronic PE 6800 can be used to disperse suspended calcium and magnesium salts, and to remove and disperse soil in acid pickling baths.
Because Pluronic PE 6800 is nonionic, Pluronic PE 6800 can be used for cleaning metal electrolytically.
Pluronic PE 6800 can also be employed to solubilize essential oils and to emulsify monomers.

Pluronic PE 6800 is Cell membrane stabilizer; anti-foaming agent.
Pluronic PE 6800 is a low-foaming, nonionic surfactant.
Pluronic PE 6800 is a block copolymer in which the central polypropylene glycol group is flanked by two polyethylene glycol groups.

Pluronic PE 6800 is a poloxamer with low-foaming, non-ionic surfactant properties used in a variety of applications.
Also, Pluronic PE 6800 can be used to enhance solubilization of hydrophobic materials in aqueous solutions, as a protectant against mechanical shearing of cells, and to form hydrogels, among other uses

Pluronic PE 6800 is a non-ionic surfactant used to control shear forces in suspension cultures.
Moreover, Pluronic PE 6800 can also be used to reduce foaming in stirred cultures and reduce cell attachment to glass.
Pluronic PE 6800 is provided at a concentration of 10% and effective at a working concentration of 0.1%.

DESCRIPTION
