POLIGEN WE 1

Poligen WE 1 is an emulsion of a well separated, high melting point, very hard aqueous polyethylene wax.
Poligen WE 1 is compatible with water-based products such as ordinary metal binders, metal-free polymer dispersions, resin solutions, plasticizers, film-forming agents and surfactants.
Poligen WE 1 is an oxidized polyethylene wax.
Poligen WE 1 is used as wax emulsions and industrial formulators.
Poligen WE 1 is emulsified waxes for ready to formulate purposes.
Poligen WE 1 is used in formulations for surface protection, but also for floor polishes, leather polishes, car polishes besides others.

Poligen WE 1 performs particularly well in high polymer content floor polishes such as concealer and restorer.
The polyethylene wax in Poligen WE 1 is very solid and hard, and this, especially in combination with polymer dispersions, allows high commercial strength glossy drying films and wear strength.

Chemical Description of Poligen WE 1:
Wax emulsion of hard and soft oxidized PE waxes

Paper and Wood
Since Poligen WE 1 is a very hard wax-based, Poligen WE 1 can be used in combination with film-forming aids to increase the resistance of the paper against scratches and mechanical movements.

Polyurethane coatings
Improves the abrasion resistance of aqueous polyurethane coatings, such as sealers applied to parquet floors.

Water-based printing inks
Poligen WE 1 can be added to water-based printing inks and overprint varnishes.
Poligen WE 1 improves wear resistance and reduces sliding friction.
Poligen WE 1 can also be used to improve the friction resistance of printing surfaces without affecting the scratch durability and gloss (appearance).

Water-based printing inks have become more popular lately for environmental reasons.
Large quantities of gravure inks are used to print on packaging made of paper, wood and plastic.

Poligen wax emulsions are used in a variety of industrial applications; such as printing inks, textiles, and coatings.
Poligen wax emulsions are often incorporated in water-based formulations to improve surface properties.
For example, Poligen wax emulsions increase the abrasion resistance of water-based printing inks or overprint varnishes.
