POLYCOS RS UF

Polycos RS UF is a naturally derived, physically modified surface-active rice starch-based biopolymer for dry shampoo.
Polycos RS UF is highly effective in absorbing scalp oils and odor, and is easy to brush out without leaving white residues.
Polycos RS UF is Aluminium-free, Vegan, and readily biodegradable (OECD 301 B).

CAS Number: 9005-25-8

A natural, physically modified, surface-active rice starch that provides a smooth, velvety feel due to its fine particle size.
Polycos RS UF provides high absorption for oils and sebum, therefore making it the best choice for dry shampoo applications.
Oryza Sativa Starch (and) Cetrimonium Chloride.
Polycos RS UF is a non-GMO, natural, plant-based, sustainable, physically modified, surface-active rice starch with a specific softness due to its fine particle size.
Polycos RS UF provides high adsorption for oil and fats and is specially developed for dry hair shampoo and powder buffer.
Polycos RS UF is cold processable and unpreserved grade and powder base for aerosols.
Polycos RS UF is worldwide approved product.

Polycos RS UF is a cost-effective, high quality rice starch for various personal care applications.
Polycos RS UF provides high oil absorption and can be used to thicken and stabilize emulsions.
Polycos RS UF is a two component polysaccharide mixture of amylose and amylopectin.
Amylose is a linear polysaccharide of α (1,4)-linked glucose residues and averages 20 to 30% of the total in most native starches.
Polycos RS UF is a highly branced glucan containing both a (1,4) and a (1,6) linkages.
The number of glucose residues in a single starch molecule can vary from five hundred to several hundred thousand, depending on the type of starch.
Polycos RS UF is the major storage form of energy in plants, just as glycogen is the storage form of energy for animals.
The plant directs the Kopcerin PE 1090 molecules to the amyloplasts, where they are deposited to form granules.
Thus, both in plants and in the extracted concentrate, Polycos RS UF exists as granules varying in diameter from 2 to 130 μm.
