Polyglykol 12000 is a polyethylene glycol that is used for a wide variety of applications including: reactive diol/polyether component in polyester or polyurethene resins; component of auxiliaries for leather and textile processing; cosmetic / pharmaceutical formulations (e.g. humectant or solubilizer for creams, shampoos, tooth paste); lubricant and mould release agent for rubber, plastic and elastomer processing; plasticizer and binder for ceramic and concrete manufacturing; component of lubricant formulations; water soluble, lubricating component in metalworking fluids; humectant for paper, wood and cellulose films; solvent and humectant for dyes and inks; modifier for production of regenerated viscose; humectant and plasticizer for adhesives; and heat transfer medium. 

Polyglykol 12000  is a powdered type available in 25 kg (P) bags or super sacs with up to 500 kg capacity.
The physical and chemical properties of Polyglykol 12000 is mainly determined by the two hydroxyl end groups, the ether groups as well as the molecular weight. 
Polyglykol 12000 is a yellowish wax-like solid at room temperature. 
Polyglykol 12000 is soluble in water and polar organic solvents like acetone or methanol.

Shipping and Storage of Polyglykol 12000
Polyglykol 12000  can be supplied in 20 kg sacks or in big packs and can be kept for at least 6 months, when stored in a cold, dry place in a closed container.

Polyglykol 12000 is a water-soluble polyalkylene glycol PAG to be used as thickener in fire-resistant hydraulic fluids and in water-based quenchants.

First aid measures of Polyglykol 12000

After inhalation:
If irritation of nose or throat develops from exposure to fumes, move away from source of exposure and into fresh air. 
If irritation develops, get medical attention.

After contact with skin:
Remove contaminated clothing without delay. 
Immediately wash the skin with soap and water for at least 15 minutes under a safety shower. 
If redness or skin irritation occurs, seek medical attention.

After contact with eyes:
Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes, holding lids apart to ensure flushing of the entire surface. 
Washing eyes within 1 minute is essential to achieve maximum effectiveness. 
Seek medical attention immediately.

After ingestion:
If ingested, seek medical assistance immediately.
