POLYPHASE 7026 is an efficient film preservative against a wide variety of fungal organisms (mold and staining fungi). Its primary application is in water based products.
POLYPHASE 7026 can be used to protect against fungal growth in interior and exterior applications.
POLYPHASE 7026 offers excellent fungal dry-film protection to interior and exterior paints, masonry coatings, stucco, pigment dispersion and water based pigmented wood stains.

3-Iodo-2-propynyl butyl carbamate: 10.0%

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Typical use levels given for the various applications indicate the approximate levels for the particular application.
All suggested rates are in percentage by weight and refer to the product Polyphase 7026.
In order to determine the most effective use level for Polyphase 7026 in a given use, field trials are suggested.

Interior and Exterior Paints and Stains:0.25 –1.15 %
Wood protective stain use:0.15 –0.75%
Joint Cements:0.25- 0.75%
Size-Press and other filler/sealant solutions for non-food grade products: 0.15- 0.5%
Masonry: 0.25–2.0%
Roof Coatings: 0.35-0.75%
Stucco and EIFS Coatings: 0.25 –0.75%
Inks: 0.15–0.75%

Polyphase 7026 is not to be used in formulations intended for food contact paper coatings or food contact adhesive uses.

Polyphase 7026 is a new, green dry-film preservative for interior aqueous coatings, offering full-spectrum anti-fungal efficacy against problematic microorganisms, including Alternia alternate.
Polyphase 689 and 7026 are zero VOC products with very low hazard profiles.
Both products also offer class-leading efficacy at very low use levels, resulting in excellent cost efficiency.
