Polypropylene Fiber 6mm for concrete makes each and every strand effective.
In a concrete mix design, almost 40% or above are large stone chips also called MII or coarse aggregate whose average size is around 19mm.
If fibre used in concrete mix has length of 19mm or below, then chances are that some fibres whole length will stick on large aggregate and become part of the aggregate.

Polypropylene Fiber 6mm fits for these uses.
These fibres won't play any role in bonding or holding the aggregates together.
In order to ensure that each and every strand play an active role in reinforcement, the minimum length of fibres should be at least 2-3 mm longer than the maximum size of aggregate in concrete mix.

Polypropylene Fiber 6mm is a thermoplastic material used in a wide variety of applications including packaging, labeling, textiles, etc.
Due to high processability and low cost, Polypropylene Fiber 6mm is one of the most extensively produced polymers, especially, for auto industry.
Polypropylene Fiber 6mm is resistant to photo-oxidation and thermal oxidation at moderate temperatures.

However, Polypropylene Fiber 6mm is sensitive to various external aging environments (such as heat, light, and radiation), and, hence, has a relatively low service temperature.
When Polypropylene Fiber 6mm is exposed to high temperatures or to an irradiation environment, the tertiary hydrogen atoms present in PP chains are susceptible to be attacked by oxygen.

It is well known that Polypropylene Fiber 6mm oxidation depends on both light and temperature in outdoor aging conditions.
Polypropylene Fiber 6mm can also be photo-degraded because several molecular chains are affected in the wavelength range from 310 to 350 nm.

Polypropylene Fiber 6mm can be used with ram- and screw-injection machines.
For automotive, housewares, general molding products and multi- and monofiliment fiber, there are several uses of Polypropylene Fiber 6mm.

Polypropylene Fiber 6mm is a base polymer in hot melt adhesives and paper-laminating, extender and viscosity modifier in caulks and sealants and waterproofing agent in wire and cable applications.
Moreover, Polypropylene Fiber 6mm can be used as modifier for waxes to reduce blocking, scuffing and abrasion.
Polypropylene Fiber 6mm improves pigment dispersion in polypropylene films and fibers.

High Aspect ratio of Polypropylene Fiber 6mm is preferrable (ratio of length and diameter).
It is a well-known fact that for Polypropylene Fiber 6mm reinforced concrete, higher aspect ratio results in better reinforcement.
Moreover long length fibers hold more number of aggregates together, there by providing better reinforcement.

Polypropylene Fiber 6mm for concrete application have Aspect ratio ranging from 850 to 1375, which is highest in industry.
More to that, Polypropylene Fiber 6mm undergoes special treatment for proper dispersion in concrete mix.

Polypropylene Fiber 6mm improves the resistance of the concrete to abrasion and to impacts, providing greater durability.
Furthermore, Polypropylene Fiber 6mm increases the cohesion of the cement mix and its resistance to freeze-thaw cycles.
Polypropylene Fiber 6mm can be used as an alternative to surface meshing for the control of cracks and fissures.

Polypropylene Fiber 6mm is resistant to acid and alkalis.

Polypropylene Fiber 6mm is intended for addition to dry mix mortars, liquid wallpaper, for production of gypsum and concrete decorative products, landscape architecture products, paving flagstones, screeds, plaster and stucco for interior and façade work.
