Potlife Enhancer II delayes the chemical reaction / crosslinking of isocyanates und isocyanurates.
Potlife Enhancer II avoids early increasing of the viscosity in formulations containing reactive isocyanate components particulary at higher temperature and higher humidity.

Applications of Potlife Enhancer II:
A typical field of application is the use to extend the potlife of bonding agent containing PVC plastisols used to coat synthetic fabrics.
Also during processing of isocyanate or isocyanurate containing formulations the use of Potlife Enhancer II can be helpful.

Storage conditions of Potlife Enhancer II:
Potlife Enhancer II should be stored in its tightly sealed original container in a cool, dry place.
Properly stored, Potlife Enhancer II has a shelf life of at least six months.
Once opened Potlife Enhancer II containers should be resealed tightly after removal of product.
Handling of Potlife Enhancer II:
Potlife Enhancer II is highly sensitive to moisture and must therefore always be kept tightly sealed in its original container ( metal drums with PE inliner ) in a cool, well ventilated place away from light.
It is important to note that Potlife Enhancer II reacts intensively with water and atmospheric moisture, forming hydrochloric acid.
Potlife Enhancer II has a pungent odour, a corrosive effect on the skin and mucous membranes and is flammable.
When Potlife Enhancer II containers are open and large amounts of atmospheric moisture are able to penetrate into the drum, hydrochloric acid mist may form.
This can cause Potlife Enhancer II to become slightly opaque but does not impair its effectiveness.
A receiving inspection is recommended.
