DESCRIPTION:
Preventol P 301 is VOC- & organic solvent-free, water-based, in-can preservative based on 2-bromo-2-nitro-1,3-propanediol (Bronopol) and isothiazolinone.
Preventol P 301 is suitable for synthetic adhesives.
Preventol P 301 offers a broad & balanced spectrum of activity against bacteria (aerobic & anaerobic), mold fungi and yeast.
Preventol P 301 is a VOC-free preservative, which protects glaze and body slurries prepared with organic swelling and binding agents against bacterial attack, thus allowing to store them for an extended period of time.
Owing to the active substance combination contained in Preventol P 301, this preservative has a broad and balanced spectrum of activity against bacteria, fungi and yeast, hence reducing an undesired adaption tendency.
Preventol P 301 is suitable for slurries of a pH ≤8.5 and can be processed at temperatures of up to 45°C.
The required addition quantity depends on the operating conditions and ranges between 0.1 and 0.3% related to the total slip quantity.
The necessary amount of this biocide to be added can be optimised by complementary hygienic measures during production, storage and transport of the products to be protected.
