The use of our stabilizers in polymer emulsions improves your product performance and stability, while also reducing costs by allowing a lower processing cost and consumption of other expensive raw materials.
Provichem 2202 include co-polymerizable stabilizer within aqueous vinyl acetate / acrylate / VeoVa / acrylic / EVA / styrene based dispersions: those waterbased resins are used as binders in coatings and adhesives with superior stability and improved scrub and water resistance.
The specific benefits of using stabilizers in acrylate and/or vinyl-based polymer emulsions will depend on Provichem 2202 and application, but may include improved emulsion stability, lower foaming properties, viscosity/particle size control, and high water/scrub resistance.
Provichem 2202 is a low colour ionic surfactant, specifically developed to give excellent stabilising performance in the emulsion polymerisation process.
Provichem 2202 is well known for its superior emulsion stability in vinyl acetate and acrylic systems, thus facilitating the production of consistently high quality polymer dispersions.

Provichem 2202's chemical functionalities make it a very effective co-polymerisable stabiliser for water based coatings and adhesives.
Provichem 2202 is the organosulfur compound with the chemical formula CH2=CHSO3H.
Provichem 2202 is the simplest unsaturated sulfonic acid.
The C=C double bond is a site of high reactivity.
Polymerization gives Provichem 2202, especially when used as a comonomer with functionalized vinyl and (meth)acrylic acid compounds.
Provichem 2202 is a colorless, water-soluble liquid, although commercial samples can appear yellow or even red.
Provichem 2202 is produced industrially by the alkaline hydrolysis of carbyl sulfate with subsequent acidification of the resulting vinyl sulfonate salt.

Conversion monomers and copolymerization-type emulsifiers for various polymers, in the sulfoethyl and other classes (e. G., styrene, butadiene, Acrylate, etc.) emulsion polymerization with good mechanical stability and stability of the metal salt emulsion additives, the environment has a good adaptability to PH changes, and the dosage of all kinds of emulsifier is more economical.

Uses
Provichem 2202 (25% in H2O) can be used as an adhesive composition.
Provichem 2202 is widely used in the synthesis of pure acrylic, styrene-acrylic, ethyl acetate and other emulsions, to stabilize and resist, reduce shrinkage and other phenomena, and can be used to synthesize fibers, conversion monomers of various polymers, and sulfoethylation additives, Electroplating gloss agent, surfactant, pharmaceutical intermediate, etc.
