APPLICATIONS:
Soap Bars:
Pureact I-85 EC can be used in soap bar applications at low use levels to provide a dense creamy lather in hard or soft water.

Such mixtures are mild to the skin and are relatively non-drying.

Shampoos:
The surfactant properties of Pureact I-85 EC make it an excellent cleansing agent in shampoos.

USES OF PUREACT I-85 EC
To incorporate Pureact I-85 EC into a formulation, it is recommended that the chips be crushed prior to melting, as this helps to increase their melting rate. 
Next, Pureact I-85 EC must be heated slowly on low heat in order to allow for easy mixing with other surfactants. 

Pureact I-85 EC is recommended that the surfactant phase be mixed using a high shear stick blender. 
This approach helps to prevent the excess foaming that could potentially occur if the stick blender is used to mix all ingredients together at once. 
Finally, the surfactant mixture can be added to the rest of the formulation.
