CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND COMPOSITION of ROYALENE 525:
the EPDM terpolymer is built from three monomers — ethylene, propylene and a non-conjugated diene (usually ethylidene norbornene — ENB for Royalene 525).

Typical E/P weight ratios for Royalene family grades vary by grade; Royalene 525 is designed with an ethylene/propylene balance and a relatively high ENB level to enable ultra-fast sulfur cure rates and achieve high crosslink density in typical sulfur-vulcanized compounds.
Those features make it especially useful where short cure times and excellent compression set are required.

Royalene 525 is a solid, off-white / white material supplied as friable bales.
