-When used in thermoplastic and thermosetting resin such as phenol aldehyde, polyester, epoxy, PBT, polyamide, carbonate, Silquest A-1100 can greatly improve dry and wet bending strength, compression strength, shear strength, and other physical-mechanical properties and wet electric properties, also improve the wetting property and dispersion of stuffing into polymer. 

When used in the sand casting of resin, Silquest A-1100 can strengthen the adhesion, improve profile sand strength and anti-wetting property. 
When added into phenol aldehyde in the production of glass fibre cotton and mineral cotton, Silquest A-1100 can improve moisture proof property and strengthen compression elastic resilience.

Silquest A-1100 has also been utilized on the polyol side of a two-part urethane adhesive or sealant to enhance wet adhesion. 
In one-part systems, Silquest A-1100 can also be considered as an endcapper in polyurethane resins, enabling an isocyanate-free moisture cure crosslinking mechanism.

Having features such as its amino functionality, Silquest A-1100 can provide multiple benefits. 
Not only has Silquest A-1100 demonstrated fast amino reactivity with isocyanate functional polymers, but also with epoxies, phenolics and acrylics, among others, and catalyzes silane reactivity.
