Description
Sodium 3-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonate is a reactive chemical that can be used in the treatment of wastewater.
Sodium 3-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonate reacts with sulfonic acid to form a cross-link between two molecules, which lowers the solubility of the organic compound.
This reaction product can then be removed from solution by adding sodium carbonate or sodium citrate to form insoluble salts that are removed from the water by filtration.
Sodium 3-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonate is an alternative to chlorine for water treatment because it does not react with ammonia and other nitrogenous compounds.
Sodium 3-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonate Usage
Used as a catalyst, Sodium 3-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonate is also a dye intermediate, used as a dyeing inhibitor for vat dyes, sulphur dyes and dyes.
Sodium 3-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonate can also be used as a rust inhibitor for ships and a nickel-plating agent for electroplating.
Sodium 3-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonate is also an intermediate for dyes and vanillin
Sodium 3-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonate is a reagent in the synthesis of azetidinyl ketolides for treatment of susceptible and multidrug resistant community-acquired respiratory tract infections.
Sodium 3-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonate is used in the synthesis of quinoline.
Sodium 3-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonate is also used in Stabilizer for dyeing of fibers; assistant in discharge printing; oxidizing agent in demetalizers and industrial cleaners.
Sodium 3-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonate is also used as an developing agent for electroplating and auxiliary for dying fabrics.
Sodium 3-nitrobenzene-1-sulfonate can be used as a dye intermediate, an anti-dyeing agent for sulfur dyes and a color forming and protecting agent for dyes, and can be used as a rust remover for ships and a nickel removing agent for electroplating, and can also be used to prepare vanillin and the like.
