Sodium Benzotriazole can be used together with many scale inhibitors and fungi disinfectants in circulating cool water system.

And sodium benzotriazole has good corrosion inhibition effect in circulating cool water system. 
The dosage of 2-4 mg/L is preferred. 
Sodium benzotriazole can also be used as an anti-discolor agent, coating additive, and lube oil additive.

Sodium Benzotriazole could prevent serious corrosion of thylene glycol catalytic oxidation acid from copper ion if putting some Sodium Benzotriazole to recycling water, so it widely used in in the solar energy conversion system,reactor of nuclear power plant, the boiler of power plant, cooling system of automobile engine and engine cooling system, Sodium Benzotriazole could work with other corrosion inhibitor which has a synergistic effect to increase the effect of corrosion inhibition.

Addition of Sodium Benzotriazole to circulating water prevents copper ions from catalytic oxidation of ethylene glycol
