SODIUM CUMENESULFONATE

Sodium cumenesulfonate is a hydrated film-forming polymer that is used as a surfactant in the production of sodium hypochlorite.
Sodium cumenesulfonate has synergistic effects when combined with sodium hypochlorite and is often used in the treatment of sewage or in industrial water purification.
Sodium cumenesulfonate also has many other uses, including providing skin care benefits and acting as an additive to detergents.

When dissolved in water, Sodium cumenesulfonate can be used as a photodecomposition agent for organic waste, such as n-oxide or amines.
This polymer also has photoelectrochemical properties that allow Sodium cumenesulfonate to transfer electrons from one electrode to another.

Sodium cumenesulfonate is colorless to light yellow liquid at room temperature, with mild odor, and white flake crystals will precipitate at low temperature.
When heated to 50-60°C, the crystals will re-dissolve, and this process does not affect Sodium cumenesulfonate's chemical and physical properties.
When Sodium cumenesulfonate is used as a solubilizer of nonionic surfactant in alkaline system, the stability and solubility of the system can be effectively improved.
