PRODUCTION METHOD of SODIUM DIETHYLHEXYL SULFOSUCCINATE:
Dehydrated malic anhydride and 2-ethylhexanol undergo esterification reaction under the catalysis of p-toluenesulfonic acid, and the resulting esterification product is then sulfonated with sodium metabisulfite.
The sulfonated product is prepared by blending an appropriate amount of alcohol and distilled water to obtain the finished product.

The raw materials used are 2-ethylhexanol, secondary octanol or mixed alcohol, with a consumption of (kg/t) anhydrous malic anhydride (>98%) 107.6 secondary octanol (>80%) 298 sodium metabisulfite 145
Maleic anhydride and secondary octanol undergo esterification reaction under the catalysis of p-toluenesulfonic acid at 120-140 ℃.
The esterification product is mixed with sodium chloride sulfite and water, and heated evenly to 110-120 ℃ at a pressure of 0.2MPa.

The reaction is maintained until the endpoint (sample is added to water, and there is no yellow oily substance floating on the water surface as the endpoint).
The reaction is cooled to 80 ℃ and left to stand overnight.
The lower layer of water and a small amount of turbid sulfonate are discarded to obtain the finished product.
