Uses
Sodium Humate is suitable reagent used to study the hygroscopic growth of solid aerosol particles consisting of mixtures of ammonium sulfate, adipic acid and humic acid mixtures. 
Sodium Humate is suitable reagent used to study the phase transitions and hygroscopic growth of humic acid aerosols by Fourier transform infra-red (FTIR) spectroscopy and tandem differential mobility analysis (TDMA).
Sodium Humate is a natural organic substance, a complex polymer compound generated by plant residues through biodegradation, oxidation-reduction and other processes. 
Sodium Humate is widely present in nature, including forest soil, grassland soil, peat, wetlands, etc. 
At the same time, artificially synthesized Sodium Humate is also widely used in agricultural production.

Application of Sodium Humate in aquaculture:
1. Carbon supplementation. 
There are relatively few studies on the application of Sodium Humate in carbon supplementation, but some studies believe that sodium humate has a high content of carbon and can be used as a carbon source in ponds.

2. Water purification. 
There are many holes in the structure of Sodium Humate, and it has strong adsorption, so it can be used as a water purification product. 
In addition, due to the structure of Sodium Humate, it is also conducive to the reproduction of beneficial bacteria, and its own release of oxygen can inhibit some harmful bacteria.

3. Shading effect. This is used more often. 
Sodium Humate is often used when there is moss growing in the pond. 
After using Sodium Humate, a layer of soy sauce color is formed on the water surface to block part of the sunlight from reaching the bottom, causing organisms that need sunlight to grow (such as moss) to die naturally.

4. Chelating heavy metals. 
When Sodium Humate is used, it will adsorb metal substances in the water.

5. The effect of improving the bottom. 
In aquaculture, as more feed is used, more ammonia accumulates at the bottom of the pond, and more ammonia sources are generated, which causes more water pollution and obstruction of ammonia circulation. 
Therefore, Sodium Humate is added to the pond to reduce the source of ammonia through adsorption.
