APPLICATIONS

Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  was employed as a detection reagent to investigate ion-pair high-performance liquid chromatographic retention behavior of copper(II)-1-oxa-4,7,10,13-tetraazacyclopentadecane complex.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  was also employed as a stationary liquid phase for resolution of dichlorophenol isomers by GC.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  functions as a surfactant – hydrotrope in cosmetic products, and is defined as the sodium salt of 2-naphthalene sulfonic acid that conforms to the formula.

Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is used in the following conditions and applications.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is used in Ready-mix concrete requiring high workability and workability retention performance.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is used in Industrial floors.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is used in Reinforced concrete slabs and floors.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is used in Heavily reinforced concrete elements such as column, shear wall and beam.

Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is used as a detection reagent to investigate ion-pair high-performance liquid chromatographic retention behavior of copper(II)-1-oxa-4,7,10,13-tetraazacyclopentadecane complex.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is also used to prepare naphthalene-1-sulfonyl chloride by reaction with phosphorousoxy chloride.
Further, Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is used as a stationary liquid phase for resolution of dichlorophenol isomers by gas chromatography.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  superplasticizer can be applied to make flowable, strong or steam-curing concrete.

The minimum working temperature can be as low as 0 degree C.
In steam curing, concrete with superplasticizer has to be strong enough before heating.
The steam curing specification has to be pre-tested.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is particularly used as base material for compound admixtures.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  possesses the features of no retarding, no air-introducing, superplastic high water-reducing and strength enhancing.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  has low alkali content, low sulfonate, and high purity.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  can be widely used in different concretes with less dosage and easy to use.

DESCRIPTIONS

Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  based raw material designed for high water reducing in concrete admixture formulations as raw material.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  Powder is a mild-alkaline, light brown poly-naphthalene sodium salt and a classic flux in building chemistry.
Depending on the prerequisite, Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  can be used to improve the rheological and mechanical properties of concrete (workability, compressive strength and flexural strength, modulus of elasticity).
By dispersing the cement particles and breaking the cement agglomerates, for example, the use of water (reduction in the water-cement ratio of up to 30%) is reduced, which is necessary in particular in the case of high-strength concretes.

In addition, naphthalenesulfonates, e.g. influence the fluid self-leveling and the early strength.
The effect and dosage depends on the temperature, type and brand of the cement, the type of aggregates, the method of mixing and transport.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is a sodium salt of naphthalene sulfonic acid.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is a surfactant-hydrotrope used in cosmetics.
Use concentrations of Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  would be typically below 2%.
In clinical studies, Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  was neither an irritant (tested up to 2%), cumulative irritant (tested up to 1%), nor a sensitizer (tested up to 1%).

Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is considered safe as used in cosmetic formulations intended to be applied to the skin.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is a high range water reducer, high concentrate naphthalene-based superplasticizer.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is made of naphthalene, sulforic acid, formalin and alkali, through sulphuration, hydrolyzation, condensation and neutralization reaction. Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  contains no chloride.
Thus, Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  meets the requirements of chemical admixture specifications for concrete.

Advantages and Properties

•Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  Increases the abrasion resistance of concrete by reducing segregation and bleeding.
•Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  Provides water reduce in concrete.
•Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  Enables to produce flowable concrete mixtures with low water to binder ratios.
•Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  Provides high workability retention without significantly affecting the setting time of cement.
•High water-reducing rate: Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  can reduce water more than 25%.

Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  has features of superplasticizer, effectively increases concrete fluidity and reduces water penetration and segregation.
Therefore, Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  improves concrete placement and makes concrete easy to use and compacting.
•Strengthening: Given the same amount of cement and slump requirement, this product can increase the concrete stress by 50-110%, 40-90%, 40-70% and 20-40% on day 1, 3, 7, and 28 respectively.
•High applicability: Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  can be used with different variety of cement.

Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  is compatible with other admixtures.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  may be used with expanding admixture, air entraining admixture as well as fly ash for supplementary and catalystic purpose.
•Approporate setting time: Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  has less effect on the initial and final setting time.
The difference in setting time generally is less than 1 hour.
•Low sodium sulfonate content: The aqueous solution has no crystals in winter, which can avoid pipeline congestions when Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  applied.

•Safety: No toxic, smell and radiation; no corrosion to steel bar; no flammable and explosive material.
•Effective durability: Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  can modify the structure of concrete and increase the property of anti-seepage, anti-freezing, and carbonization.
•Easy to use: Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  can be added directly or used after soluted in water.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  can be used for different working condition and concrete mixer.

Potential Acute Health Effects:
Inhalation: Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  May cause irritation to the respiratory tract, with symptoms of Bronchitis
Ingestion: Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  May cause abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
Skin Contact: Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  Slightly irritating.
Eye Contact: Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  May cause irritation.

Package, Storage & Handling

For powder: Woven fabric bag with plastic liner.
Cautions should be taken to prevent packages from being torn by sharp-ended objects while being transferred or delivered.
When being contaminated by high humidity or moisture in case of leakage, Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  can be prepared in prescribed ways for further use without surrendering any effect.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  should be stored in a dedicated warehouse that is well-ventilated and dry.
Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  remains effective in one year.
After the expiration date, Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  can be used again if testing results fall within the established range.

Keep container dry.
Keep Sodium naphthalene sulfonate  in a cool place.
