The invention discloses a preparation technique of sorbitan monooleate, which comprises the following steps: sequentially adding oleic acid, sorbitol and a composite catalyst into a vacuum reaction kettle, and starting a material circulating pump when the material temperature is greater than 165 DEG C; reacting for 8.5-9 hours, taking samples every other 15-30 minutes, observing the product transparency, and discharging the heat-conducting oil when the product is transparent; and cooling to 80-90 DEG C, and removing the vacuum of the reaction kettle to obtain the sorbitan monooleate product. The technique is simple and easy to operate, greatly shortens the reaction time and lowers the production cost; by adopting the composite catalyst of sodium hydroxide and high-purity phosphite, the reaction time is shortened, and the production technique is simplified; the product has the advantages of light color, favorable interior regularity, favorable flowability, no need of decolorization and lower cost; and the reaction temperature of the technique is 20-40 DEG C lower than that of the traditional technique, thereby saving the energy.

A kind of preparation technology of sorbitan monooleate. The present invention relates to a kind of preparation technology of sorbitan monooleate. Dehydrating sorbitol monooleate belongs to polyol-based non-ionic surfactant, is commonly used for w/o type emulsifying agent.Due to the surfactivity such as emulsification, dispersion of excellence, the feature such as the higher and micella Gibbs free energy of nontoxic, nonirritant, low volatilization, micelle-forming concentration is lower in addition, so Sorbitan monooleate has purposes widely: the medicine processing being mainly used in various formulation, the solubilizing agent of injection liquid and oral liquid, emulsifying agent, the disintegrating agent of tablet, capsule dispersion agent, ointment emulsifying agent and matrix, Sorbitan monooleate is also emulsifying agent the most frequently used in foodstuffs industry level. The synthesis of current home products also has a lot of defect with production.

The object of the invention is to prior art defect, a kind of preparation technology of sorbitan monooleate is provided. Object of the present invention can be achieved through the following technical solutions: A preparation technology for sorbitan monooleate, described technique specifically comprises the following steps: successively oleic acid, sorbyl alcohol, composite catalyst are dropped into vacuum reaction still, steam is warming up to 160 DEG C, and vacuum tightness remains on 0.07-0.09MPa, and the heat-up rate of material temperature rises to 155-160 DEG C in 2-2.5h, when material temperature is greater than 165 DEG C, open Matter Transfer pump;  steam off, use thermal oil instead and heat up, now thermal oil temperature controls at 220-240 DEG C, when material temperature reaches 190 DEG C, thermal oil temperature is brought up to 240-260 DEG C; material final temperature controls at 210-220 DEG C, and vacuum degree control is at 0.09-0.098MPa; react 8.5-9h, start, every 15-30min sampling, to see product transparency, after product is transparent, release thermal oil, cooling to material temperature is 80-90 DEG C, breaks reactor vacuum, obtaining sorbitan monooleate product, controlling at 9-10h from being warmed up to the cooling end time.

Dehydration reaction due to sorbyl alcohol is actually very complicated, and resultant is the mixture of multiple compounds, and therefore, its esterification reaction product is also diversified.Product is mono fatty acid ester mainly, but also containing complicated products such as di fatty acid ester, tri-fatty acid ester, four fatty acid esters. If not exclusively, when having water to exist, the reversed reaction of esterification also can be there is, will seriously reduce the content of ester in product in dehydration. And the too high local superheating that can make of dehydration temperaturre causes carbonization, the method for lesser temps, condition of high vacuum degree therefore should be taked to dewater, the problem that should be noted that prevents punching material.Esterification should be carried out under certain high temperature, to obtain the mixture of the higher sorbitan ester of content.Esterification time is short, and esterification is incomplete, and product acid number is high; Esterification time increases, and acid number declines; If the reaction times is long, the decomposition reaction of ester increases, and shows acid number and is gone up on the contrary by low. Therefore, the processing condition that certain temperature and time is obtained high-quality Arlacel-80 key are controlled.

The effects of a typical commercial anti-agglomerant, sorbitan monooleate (Span80), on the interactions between cyclopentane (CyC5) hydrate particles and water droplets were investigated using a micromechanical force (MMF) apparatus. The concentration of Span 80 in CyC5 was ranged from 0.01 wt.% to 1wt.%, and the experimental temperature was set at 1.5°C and 7°C, respectively. The results indicate that the absorption of Span 80 on the droplet surface can render the interfaces more stable, preventing hydrate agglomeration. When the preload/contact force exceeds the strength of the interface (<~10μN), the droplet ruptures, and the following interaction behavior depends on the subcooling significantly. At the lower temperature (1.5°C), the water in the droplet can spontaneously spread over the whole hydrate particle due to the significant reduction in water-CyC5 interfacial tension. Meanwhile, the water on the hydrate particle surface converts into hydrate rapidly. In this case, Span 80 actually accelerates the agglomeration process and grants much shorter time to allow the external force to separate the water droplet and hydrate particle. At the higher temperature (7°C), the capillary bridge dominates the interaction behavior. The addition of Span80 can reduce the capillary force through reducing the water-CyC5 interfacial tension effectively. The measurements and observations in present work can provide new insight into the mechanism of Span 80 on inhibiting hydrate agglomeration. The fatty acid moiety of sorbitan monostearate has a coefficient of digestibility of 53.3% (Oser & Oser, 1957b).

Experiments with 14C-labelled sorbitan monostearate showed that at least 90% of the emulsifier, when fed to rats in oily solution, was hydrolysed to stearic acid and anhydrides of sorbitol. A significant fraction of the administered 14C was expired as CO2. When the labelled material was administered in water, 16-25% was recovered in the urine; when Sorbitan monooleate was given in oil, 44-66% was recovered. Of the ingested radioactivity, 3-7% was recovered in the tissues 48 hours after feeding. Fractionation of the carcass fats showed that 14C was incorporated into fatty acids, glycerol and a residue that did not sublime (Wick & Joseph, 1953).

Sorbitan trioleate prepared with a 14C-label in the sorbitol or the oleate moieties was administered orally to rats. After administration of sorbitan 14C-trioleate, the appearance of 14C-CO2 in the expired air reached a peak at about 6 hours and amounted to 30-35% of administered label. The faeces and gastrointestinal tract contained about 42% of the 14C-label, indicating that Sorbitan monooleate was incompletely absorbed, and 3% appeared in the urine; the liver contained about 3% and the carcass about 22%. After administration of the 14C-sorbitan-labelled ester, less than 2% of the label was recovered as 14C-CO2; the proportions not absorbed were 24% from a water emulsion and 37% from a solution in oil; the proportions recovered of that absorbed were as follows: urine, 88%; expired air, 5%; liver, 1%; carcass, 6% (Treon et al., 1967).

In this study, sorbitan monooleate was used to pretreat lignite prior to flotation tests. First, the lignite sample and water were mixed with 0%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% and 2% (on the basis of the weight of the coal) of sorbitan monooleate to produce five types of flotation slurries. FTIR, XPS and SEM were used to analyze the surface properties of the lignite sample. The flotation tests were used to indicate the improvements in flotation of lignite after the sorbitan monooleate pre-treatment. FTIR and XPS results showed that there are many oxygenated functional groups in lignite such as carboxyl group and hydroxyl groups. Furthermore, SEM results showed that there are many holes on the lignite surface. These holes will be filled with water in the flotation pulp. The flotation results indicated that sorbitan monooleate can improve the lignite flotation at low concentrations of sorbitan monooleate. However, the flotation behavior of lignite deteriorated at higher concentrations of sorbitan monooleate.
