Sorbitan Trioleate is a triester of oleic acid and hexitol anhydrides derived from sorbitol. 
Sorbitan Trioleate functions as a surfactant and emulsifying agent. 

Sorbitan Trioleate is a white to tan-colored solid. 
In cosmetics and personal care products, Sorbitan Trioleates are used in a variety of products including skin care products, skin cleansing products, moisturizers, eye makeup and other makeup.

Sorbitan Trioleate can be used as an emulsifier and nonionic surfactant in pharmaceutical formulations.

Sorbitan Trioleates oil solubility makes it a very effective coupling agent and co-emulsifier for mineral oil. 
Sorbitan Trioleate is suggested for use in cosmetic formulations, household products, plastics, coatings and textile chemicals.
