USES and APPLICATIONS of STABAXOL P 200:
Stabaxol P 200 is a versatile hydrolysis stabilizer that can be used in: Polyester hot-cast polyurethane, Polyester polyurethane adhesive, Polyester thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), and Polyurethane sole system made from polyester polyols.
The recommended dosage of Stabaxol P 200 is about 1.0–2.5% of the polyol component in the polyurethane system.

Preliminary tests should be carried out before use to obtain the best dosage.
When used, Stabaxol P 200 is usually dissolved in polyester polyols or added to prepolymers with OH terminal groups.
For casting systems, Stabaxol P 200 can be added directly to the mixing head.

Stabaxol P 200 can also be used as an anti-hydrolysis stabilizer for polyester polyurethane systems, cast polyurethane systems (CPU), PET mesh, and thermoplastic polyester polyurethane (TPU).
The addition amount is about 1.0–4.0 parts by weight of Stabaxol P 200 per 100 parts of the polyol component of the PU system.

In actual use of Stabaxol P 200, the drying screens made of plastic fibers required for papermaking machinery are very susceptible to hydrolysis reactions because they are usually used in aqueous media at around 100°C.
The PET monofilament fibers used in this application cannot fully meet the strict requirements for anti-hydrolysis stability.

If Stabaxol P 200 is added to PET, this decomposition can be prevented, and the service life can be extended by three times compared to products without Stabaxol.
In addition to the cost savings from the filter itself, reduced downtime and filter replacement also significantly reduces operating costs.

In the footwear industry, PU elastomers and thermoplastic PU elastomers (TPU) have been very maturely applied as high-performance materials.
These materials are especially used in walking shoes, safety shoes, skis, and snow boots, which all require high hydrolysis resistance.
At the same time, Stabaxol P 200 can effectively improve the hydrolysis stability of polyurethane adhesives.

Crosslinking Agent: Stabaxol P 200 is used in aqueous resins like polyurethane and acrylic dispersions to form N-acyl urea linkages, enhancing mechanical strength and chemical resistance.

Biomedical Applications: Stabaxol P 200 is employed in bioconjugation techniques for protein and peptide modifications.
Stabaxol P 200 is much less sensitive to the presence of water and able to achieve long pot-life.

Due to the high reactivity, curing with CDI type crosslinkers can be done at room temperature and under typical oven conditions used for drying of applied coatings.
Used as anti-hydrolysis agent and antioxidant of compound polyurethane rubber, Stabaxol P 200 can improve the stability of vulcanized rubber and delay the hydrolysis of rubber.

For polyester and other general-purpose resins and biodegradable resins such as polylactic acid, hydrolysis is a big issue.
Stabaxol P 200 compounds are known to have an effect of suppression by supplementing acid in the polymer which is a catalyst for decomposition reaction.

On the other hand, when adding conventional Stabaxol P 200 compounds to polymers, melt-kneading them, or processing them by re-melting the polymers, isocyanate gas known as a substance with high irritation and sensitization is generated.

As a result, it is necessary to take measures against the work environment such as exhaust equipment of this gas, so Stabaxol P 200 was sometimes refrained from use.
Stabaxol P 200 is widely used in PU Sole liquid, synthetic leather slurry, biodegradable material (PLA,PBAT )and adhesive.

For example, stabilized hot melt adhesives are used as glue for bonding soles, thereby reducing the risk of complaints caused by premature detachment of the outsole due to hydrolysis.
