This multi-functional ingredient is an excellent addition to a formula as it acts as a skin soothing agent, an antioxidant and a preservative booster.  
Its preservative boosting powers are such that at concentrations of 0.6% and above this may well be enough to fully preserve some formulations while at 0.1-0.5% it may reduce the total amount of preservative you need. 

This is an excellent addition to wet wipe formulations as a preservative booster.   
As an antioxidant this can be used as is or blended with Vitamin C, Resveratrol and / Or Vitamin E to make an antioxidant enriched product.

PROPERTIES OF SYMSAVE H:
Ingredients: Hydroxyacetophenone
 
INCI: Hydroxyacetophenone
Origin: Nature Identical. While this chemical is manufactured, this is found in nature in Norwegan spruce trees.
Function: Soothing, Antioxidant, Preservative Boosting.
Solubility:  Alcohol, Glycol, Water.
Form: Sold as a white, crystaline powder that dissolves to form a colourless solution.
Aroma: Characteristic/ slightly almond. Can be quite a strong aroma so do try it out on a small batch before scale-up.
Use level: Up to 1%
