Description:

Triethyl phosphate is a phosphoric compound, an ester of ethanol and phosphoric acid, with the replacement of all three acidic groups of phosphoric acid.

Properties:

It is a flammable liquid, reacts vigorously with oxidants and is completely soluble in water. It dissolves easily in organic solvents based on ethyl alcohol, ethyl ether, benzene.

Application:

It is used as a fire retardant, an additive that increases the impact resistance of rubbers and plastics, a stabilizing additive and a hardener for various resins, as a raw material in the production of pesticides.
