It is a very strong, popular solvent which can be used as an antifoam agent, in hydraulic fluids, extraction agents and for the production of plastics. Other fields of application include concrete additives, glues and adhesives, and drilling fluids. Triisobutyl phosphate, concrete, textile auxiliaries, paper coating compounds etc. It is a very strong solvent used to liquefy. Tri iso butyl phosphate (TiBP) is a very strong polar solvent. It is used as a defoaming agent in various aqueous systems, often acting as an antifoam and antifoam. TiBP is also used in the melting process of synthetic resins and natural rubber. It is used as a flame retardant plasticizer in both ellulose based plastics and synthetic resins. TiBP is used as an adhesive agent for pigment pastes. Due to the limited effect of temperature on the viscosity of TiBP, it also serves as an important component in the production of hydraulic fluid for aircraft.
