TRITON X-405 (70%) is an octylphenol ethoxylate. 
TRITON X-405 (70%) is a non-ionic surfactant. 

Acts as an emulsion stabilizer, dispersing agent and emulsifier. 
Provides freeze/thaw & ionic stability. 

TRITON X-405 (70%) is effective at high temperatures. 
Offers good solubility in the presence of salts or electrolytes & caustic solutions. 
TRITON X-405 (70%) is used in paints and coatings, floor polish and wax emulsions.

Triton X-405 is a member of the Nonionic surfactant family and is 70% Active Octylphenol Ethoxylate in water. 
These surfactants are commonly used in industrial and household detergent applications and in emulsifying agents. 
They can be found as ingredients of primary emulsifier mixtures used in the manufacture of emulsion polymers, stabilizers in latex polymers, and emulsifiers for agricultural emulsion concentrates, and wettable powders.
