as naked flames, hot surfaces, sparks and static electricity should be avoided. Tylose HS 100000 YP2 starts to decompose at about 200°C. Its ignition temperature is >360°C. Tylose burns easily and the fire may spread.

as naked flames, hot surfaces, sparks and static electricity should be avoided. Tylose HS 100000 YP2 starts to decompose at about 200°C. Its ignition temperature is >360°C. Tylose burns easily and the fire may spread.
When stored in closed containers, or in its original packaging in a dry place at room temperature, TYLOSE HS 100000 YP2 can
be kept for a long time. In the case of high viscosity grades, a slow loss of viscosity can be measured after
lengthy storage (>1 year). Tylose HS 100000 YP2 absorbs water from moist air. Once opened, container must be resealed and
kept tightly closed.

Tylose HS 100000 YP2 is a water-soluble, non-ionic, highly etherified hydroxyethyl cellulose powder. Tylose HS 100000 YP2 provides increased biostability, very high thickening effects and water retention, moderate foam stabilization, and high solution clarity, gloss appearance, pigment compatibility, and pseudoplasticity. This grade of hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) is particularly well-suited for use in interior paint, non-woven fabric, and toilet cleaner / wc-gel applications.

This organization delivers a range of water-soluble cellulose ethers under the Tylose® trade name - including methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose (MHEC), methyl hydroxypropyl cellulose (MHPC), and hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) - for applications such as construction and ceramic coatings & paints.

Hydroxyethyl cellulose. Provides effects like thickening, pseudoplastic properties, water retention, protective colloid effects, film forming and a high level of salt tolerance. Offers high gloss, high pigment compatibility, high pseudoplasticity, high wet scrub resistance, and very high thickening effect. Exhibits moderate water retention. Used for paints applications like interior and exterior paints.

Tylose HS 100000 YP2 is a hydroxyethyl cellulose powder recommended for use in interior and exterior paints.

SE Tylose produces silicones and silicone products for the Paints and Coating Industry. They provide first rate silicone compounds to develop and increase the reliability and all around performance of a product. One such product type, Silane Coupling Agents, are used as a mediator that helps improve and support bonds between inorganic and organic materials. This allows for surface modification and resin modification to take place. Tylose HS 100000 YP2 also aids in the increased adhesion and the enhancement of the mechanical durability of composite materials.
