TYLOSE MH 6000 YP4

TYLOSE MH 6000 YP4 is a water-soluble, non-ionic methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose powder with standard etherification.
TYLOSE MH 6000 YP4 provides fast consistency development, low sag resistance and water demand, moderate water retention, and low influence on cement hydration.

This grade of methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose (MHEC) is ideal for use in grouts, lime-wash paints, and powder paints.
TYLOSE MH 6000 YP4 offers very high water retention, low gloss, low pigment compatibility, low pseudoplasticity, moderate thickening effect, and moderate wet scrub resistance.

TYLOSE MH 6000 YP4 exhibits good anti-spattering.
TYLOSE MH 6000 YP4 used for paint applications like interior paints, solid paints, exterior paints, powder paints, cement paints, glazes, distempers, and emulsion based plasters.

TYLOSE MH 6000 YP4 is, due to its properties, an important part of water-borne paints.
Important properties of TYLOSE MH 6000 YP4, used to optimize the parameters of paints, are the setting of processing consistency, water retention, setting of binder properties, storability and the ability to act as a protective colloid.

TYLOSE MH 6000 YP4 gives good processing properties, especially to paints with a high volume concentration of pigments (OKP).
In addition, the addition of TYLOSE MH 6000 YP4 can extend the pot life, reduce the tendency to spray, improve flow and coverage.
