Tylose MH 60004 P6 is used as an excipient in a wide range of pharmaceutical products, including oral tablets and suspensions, and topical gel preparations. Tylose MH 60004 P6 has similar properties to methylcellulose, but the hydroxyethyl groups make it more readily soluble in water and solutions are more tolerant of salts and have a higher coagulation temperature.

Tylose MH 60004 P6  is a non-ionic cellulose ether made from natural high polymer cellulose. It is an odourless, tasteless and non-toxic white powder, which can be dissolved in cold water to form a transparent viscous solution. Tylose MH 60004 P6  can be used in different building materials: Tile adhesive, Cement mortar, Joint filler, Self-levelling compound, External wall insulation, Gypsum based plaster, Ceramic extrusion.

Tylose MH 60004 P6, short for MC, is a type of long chain substituted cellulose in which 27% to 32% of the hydroxyl group is in the methoxy form. The degree of substitution affects the physical properties of methyl cellulose such as solubility. The average molecular weight of Tylose MH 60004 P6 is 10,000 to 220,000. 
Tylose MH 60004 P6 is displayed as a white powder or fibrous material at room temperature and is non-toxic, non-irritating with its non-allergenic effect.Tylose MH 60004 P6 is apparent relative density is 0.35 to 0.55 (actual density is 1.26 to 1.30). By swelling in water, Tylose MH 60004 P6 becomes a translucent viscous colloidal solution that is litmus neutral, insoluble in ethanol, ether and chloroform, but soluble in glacial acetic acid. 
Tylose MH 60004 P6 is tolerant to the effects of acid, alkali, microorganisms, heat and light, and is also unaffected by oil and grease, but will burn when Tylose MH 60004 P6 reaches the ignition point. Methyl cellulose is a product consisting of cellulose glucose by methylation of all or part of the three hydroxyls. General products contain a methoxy fraction between 26% and 33% and the degree of substitution is 1.7 to 2.2. The product with a degree of substitution of 1.3 to 2.6 is soluble in water, pyridine and acetic acid.

Used to improve drug dissolution rate or disintegration rate; the overall concentration is 1% to 2%. For gels, thickening gels and creams: Tylose MH 60004 P6 is appropriate to choose the higher viscosity grade. Suspending agents and thickening agents, solutions can replace syrup; use a concentration up to 5% to thicken. For tablet coating: we can choose high modification and low viscosity product as film coating; Tylose MH 60004 P6 can also be used for the covering surrounding the outer nuclear layer for isolation. For disintegrants, Tylose MH 60004 P6 is generally used in a concentration of 2% to 10%.
