Unitop HCO 40 hydrogenated castor oil with an average of 40 repeating units of ethylene glycol.
Unitop HCO 40 can be used in combination or combined with other surfactants to achieve any required HLB.
Since Unitop HCO 40 is completely saturated, it is more stable and lighter in color than the analogous unsaturated castor oil materials.
Unitop HCO 40 is useful as an emulsifier for making oil-in-water emulsions but specific members of this series also have additional benefits.
Unitop HCO 40 is useful as a detergent and solubilizer.
Unitop HCO 40 surfactants conform to a specification of 1ppm max for residual ethylene oxide and 10ppm max for 1,4-dioxane and are all palm-oil free.

Unitop HCO 40 is a surfactant that is often used in vitro to study cell nuclei.
Unitop HCO 40 has been shown to have an optimum concentration of 0.025% (v/v) in vitro assays.
Unitop HCO 40 also has the ability to prevent radiation-induced damage by stabilizing the cell membrane and preventing leakage of cellular contents, which can lead to cell death.
Unitop HCO 40 has been shown to increase synchronous fluorescence in vitro, and it is not toxic when applied topically at concentrations up to 10%.
Unitop HCO 40 has been found to inhibit the growth of infectious bacteria such as Chlamydia pneumoniae and Helicobacter pylori, and it may be a potential drug for treating cardiac dysfunction.
Unitop HCO 40 is a combination of synthetic polyethylene glycol (PEG) with natural castor oil.
Unitop HCO 40 can be used to emulsify and solubilize oil-in-water (o/w) emulsions.
Unitop HCO 40 can be used as a cosolvent in vivo.

Unitop HCO 40 is a non-ionic solubilizer and emulsifier obtained by reacting hydrogenated castor oil with ethylene oxide.
Unitop HCO 40's main components are glyceryl polyethylene glycol oxystearate, which together with the fatty acid glyceryl polyglyceryl esters form the hydrophobic part of the product.
Unitop HCO 40 can be used to dissolve ethereal oils, perfume ingredients, vitamins, and hydrophobic active substances in aqueous-alcoholic and purely aqueous solutions.
Unitop HCO 40 is a non-ionic solubilizer and emulsifier for personal care products.
Used to solubilize ethereal oils, perfume compositions, vitamins and hydrophobic active substances in aqueous-alcoholic and purely aqueous solutions.
Unitop HCO 40 is widely used as a fragrance solubilizer in liquid soaps, lotions, shower gel, shampoo, facial cleansers, bubble baths, and makeup.
