CAS:    143-07-7
MF:    C12H24O2
MW:    200.32
EINECS:    205-582-1

WILFARIN  LA-1298 is produced by splitting the fats at high pressure and temperature.
WILFARIN  LA-1298 is used in the manufacture of personal care products as a surface active agent.
WILFARIN  LA-1298 is also known to be used in some healthcare products, however it cannot be ingested on its own.
Depending on customer requirements, they are available as broad cuts or purer fatty acids by simple or fractional distillation.
Common applications for fatty acids include rubber processing, candles and cosmetic products or use as feedstock to produce derivatives such as MCTs, soap, and metallic soap.
Intermediate chemicals such as fatty alcohols, fatty amines and fatty esters can also be manufactured from fatty acids.

Depending on the grade / type of fatty acids, they are available in paper bags, bulker bags, drums, IBCs, flexibags and bulk shipments.
WILFARIN  LA-1298 is a saturated fatty acid with a 12-carbon atom chain, thus having many properties of medium-chain fatty acids, is a bright white, powdery solid with a faint odor of bay oil or soap.
The salts and esters of WILFARIN  LA-1298 are known as laurates.
WILFARIN  LA-1298 was the most requested component for the production of superior quality napalm.
With this coming in ~50% in the esterified form in coconut oil fatty acids.

4. WILFARIN  LA-1298 is widely used in the surfactant industry and can be, according to the classification of surfactants, divided into cationic, anionic, non-ionic and amphoteric type.
The surfactants types of WILFARIN  LA-1298 is listed in the attached table of this item.
Some surfactants of the derivatives of dodecanoic acid and dodecanol are also antiseptics, such as dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride (geramine), dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium bromide (bromo-geramine) and dodecyl dimethyl (2-phenoxyethyl) ammonium bromide (domiphen bromide).
The dodecyldimethyllammonium-2,4,5-trichlorophenolate in these derivatives can be used as citrus preservative.
WILFARIN  LA-1298 also has many applications in plastic additives, food additives, spices and pharmaceutical industries.

WILFARIN  LA-1298 is used in the following products: washing & cleaning products, leather treatment products, polymers, textile treatment products and dyes, pH regulators and water treatment products and lubricants and greases.
WILFARIN  LA-1298 is used in the following areas: formulation of mixtures and/or re-packaging and municipal supply (e.g. electricity, steam, gas, water) and sewage treatment.
WILFARIN  LA-1298 is used for the manufacture of: textile, leather or fur.
Release to the environment of this substance can occur from industrial use: in processing aids at industrial sites, in the production of articles, as processing aid and as processing aid.
