EMULSOGEN LCN 158

EMULSOGEN LCN 158 is a nonionic emulsifier for industrial applications.
EMULSOGEN LCN 158 is composed of alkyl polyethylene glycol ether with 15 mole ethylene oxide.

EMULSOGEN LCN 158 is is readily biodegradable and contains no additional biocides.
EMULSOGEN LCN 158 is used as an emulsifier for emulsion polymerization improving the shear, temperature and electrolyte stability of polymer dispersions.
EMULSOGEN LCN 158 is also used as a dispersing agent for emulsion paints to improve the scrub resistance.

Nonionic emulsifier for emulsion polymerization, compatibilizer and process aid for waterborne coatings EMULSOGEN LCN 158 is used as a nonionic emulsifier for emulsion polymerization improving the shear, temperature and electrolyte stability of polymer dispersions.
The recommended usage of EMULSOGEN LCN 158 is 2% active based on monomers.

EMULSOGEN LCN 158 is a low-VOC, APEO/NPEO-free, solvent-free, non-ionic emulsifier for emulsion polymerization and process aid.
EMULSOGEN LCN 158 is a compatibilizer for waterborne and solvent-borne high PVC paints and low PVC lacquers.

EMULSOGEN LCN 158 also acts as a wetting agent for optimized processing time of paints.
EMULSOGEN LCN 158 improves the shear, temperature and electrolyte stability of polymer dispersions.

In waterborne acrylic lacquers, EMULSOGEN LCN 158 improves tinting strength, reduces rub-out and water absorption.
This preservative-free, FDA approved & readily biodegradable grade is compatible with solvent-borne alkyd binder system.

EMULSOGEN LCN 158 is suitable for architectural/decorative coatings.
The recommended dosage for pure acrylic, styrene-acrylic, vinyl acetate and styrene butadiene is 2%.
The shelf life of EMULSOGEN LCN 158 is 730 days.

In waterborne and solvent-borne lacquers (low PVC), EMULSOGEN LCN 158 can be used as a compatibilizer to improve tinting strength and to reduce rub-out, water absorption, and haze effects.
Dosage recommendation (supply form) in waterborne acrylic lacquers is 1.3-1.9% and in solvent-borne alkyd lacquers 0.33-0.66%.

When used during the premixing phase in the production of waterborne emulsion paints (high PVC), EMULSOGEN LCN 158 also acts as a processing aid and helps to reduce the grinding time by faster deagglomeration of TiO2 and fillers.
This is especially of interest in areas of hard water.
The general dosage recommendation (supply form) for this purpose is 0.3%.

EMULSOGEN LCN 158 is used as a nonionic emulsifier for emulsion polymerization improving the shear, temperature and electrolyte stability of polymer dispersions.
