Grape seed oil is a vegetable oil that is mechanically or chemically extracted from the tiny seeds of grapes, which are typically discarded during the wine production process; by repurposing these seeds, grape seed oil contributes to waste reduction and adds economic value to the wine industry. 
This oil is particularly rich in unsaturated fatty acids—especially linoleic acid, which plays a role in maintaining healthy skin and lowering bad cholesterol levels when consumed as part of a balanced diet.
Grape seed oil (also called grapeseed oil or grape oil) is a vegetable oil derived from the seeds of grapes. 

Grape seed oil has a moderately high smoke point of approximately 216 °C (421 °F).

In culinary uses, grape seed oil is appreciated for its light, clean taste, which does not interfere with the flavor of food, making it suitable for marinades, salad dressings, and even baking. 
Grape seed oil smoke point—generally between 215°C to 230°C (about 420°F to 450°F)—allows it to be safely used in high-temperature cooking techniques such as stir-frying and sautéing, unlike some more delicate oils which can degrade at lower temperatures and produce harmful compounds.

Because grape seed oil contains a high amount of polyunsaturated fats, it is more prone to oxidation when exposed to air, light, or heat, and spoiled or rancid oil may develop harmful free radicals or an unpleasant taste and odor, making it unsafe for consumption or topical use.
