WANNATE 3T3125

WANNATE 3T3125 is a TDI-Ester based prepolymer raw material used in the production of cast polyurethane systems.
WANNATE 3T3125 is commonly used in industrial molding, wheel coatings, and the manufacture of elastomeric parts requiring high wear resistance.
Key features and usage details are as follows:
Hardness Values: Hardness varies depending on the curing agent (chain extender) used.
When used with MOCA, WANNATE 3T3125 reaches 75 ShA, and when used with DMTDA (E 300), it reaches 70 ShA.
Physical Properties: Due to its low viscosity, it is easily processed and cast into molds.

WANNATE 3T3125 has very good flexibility properties.
Durability: WANNATE 3T3125 allows the production of extremely wear-resistant polyurethane elastomers.
This material is generally preferred by polyurethane casting workshops and industrial production facilities in the production of molds, gaskets, couplings, and various wear parts.
WANNATE 3T3125 is widely used in the production of industrial polyurethane elastomer (cast) parts requiring high wear resistance, flexibility, and mechanical strength.

Common application areas include:
1. Heavy Industry and Mining Screen Panels:
High wear-resistant screens used in ore screening processes in mines.
Chutter and Trough Coatings: Protection of surfaces through which abrasive stones, coal, and minerals pass.
Cyclone Linings: Internal coatings of centrifugal separator systems.

2. Wheel and Roller Coatings: Pallet Truck and Forklift Wheels:
Wheel coatings that do not crush, tear, or damage the floor under heavy loads.
Conveyor Rollers: Rollers that carry loads and are subjected to friction in conveyor belt systems.
Industrial Rollers: Guide and crushing roller coatings used in the iron and steel or paper industries.
3. Machinery and Engineering Parts: Coupling Rubbers: Flexible couplings that absorb vibration and withstand rotational torque in power transmission systems.
Scraper Blades: Wear-resistant scrapers used in conveyor belt cleaning units.
Gaskets and Sealing Elements: Special gaskets that operate under high pressure and mechanical stress.
4. Automotive and Defense Industry: Bushings and Mounts: High-strength mounts that dampen vibration in suspension systems.
Protective Buffers: Impact-absorbing industrial buffer blocks and protective parts.

5. Concrete and Construction Industry: Formwork Liners: Flexible liners used to create patterns in concrete casting or to extend formwork life.
Concrete Pump Parts: Flexible casting parts exposed to abrasive cement mortar.
The production process of WANNATE 3T3125 (i.e., the synthesis process at the factory as a raw material) and the manufacturing of a final polyurethane elastomer part from this raw material are handled in two stages:
1. Production as a Chemical Raw Material (Synthesis) WANNATE 3T3125 is a chemical prepolymer synthesized by its manufacturer, Wanhua Chemical, at petrochemical plants.

Its chemical production takes place in the following steps:
Polyester Polyol Synthesis: First, a polyester-based polyol backbone is produced to provide seamless flexibility and oil resistance.
Reaction with TDI (Termination): This polyester polyol is reacted with TDI (Toluene Diisocyanate) monomer at a controlled temperature.
NCO Control: TDI binds to the end chains of the polyol, converting the material into the WANNATE 3T3125 form, which is solid/semi-solid at room temperature and is called "TDI-Ester terminated prepolymer".

2. Part Production in the Workshop (Casting Process)
The transformation of the purchased WANNATE 3T3125 raw material into a final industrial part (wheel, screen, gasket, etc.) is done by the Hot Cast Elastomer method:
Melting (Liquefaction): WANNATE 3T3125, which is solid at room temperature, is heated in furnaces at a temperature of 70°C - 80°C to become a completely fluid liquid.
Curing Agent Preparation: Depending on the desired hardness, MOCA (melted at 115-120°C) or DMTDA (E-300) (liquid at room temperature) is prepared for casting.

Mixing and Vacuuming: The fluidized WANNATE 3T3125 and the curing agent are mixed according to the precise ratios in the technical data sheet.
Air bubbles formed during mixing are completely removed in the vacuum chamber (desiccator).
Casting: The mixture is poured into metal molds that have been preheated to 100°C - 110°C and treated with mold release agent.
Curing and Post-Cure: After completing the gel time in the mold, the material is removed from the oven (demolding).

To achieve the final mechanical wear performance of the part, a post-curing process is applied in a 100°C oven for 12 to 24 hours, completing the manufacturing process.
